review 1: Read September 2012 and loved… these books were intoxicating!! I had never read any type of mystery novels before, but loved them. Lisbeth’s role of such a dominant female was amazing and kept me very into the books and the story that followed her. While parts of these books were risqué and filled with sex and abuse, the stories that tied this to the characters kept me wanting to read more.
review 2: It's about bigotry, crime, Cold War spys, hoodlums and perverts and the triumph of reason and hard nosed research to purge some cancers from Society. There are tense moments of horror, a spy novel's sense of paranoia, a courtroom drama and about a dozen extremely violent encounters to keep a high level of anticipation throughout the trilogy.
