review 1: I received this book as a goodreads giveaway! I love to cook,I collect cookbooks, and I love to read. This was a WIN! But first I have to get my one snarky comment out of the way...whoever needs a recipe to make a chopped salad should hang up their apron....ok so now my review. A little romance, and lots of food! That's my kind of recipe! This is a visually stunning book. Separated by colors in seasons. The pictures are mouth-watering, especially the baked goods.. And there's a sweet little love story running thoughout. Many of the recipes are on my to try list. It is a lovely book, one I will treasure for years to come.
review 2: I have to remind myself that this is a cookbook with a bonus short story, rather than a story with a bonus cookbook. I wa... mores excited to get to read Ana Raquel's story since we had met her in previous stories, but I felt a little disappointed with the length constraints. I felt like we were getting the highlights of her story and I missed the details Mallery usually gives us. That being said, I enjoyed the story; I just wanted more. But now I can place it in my kitchen and try out some of the fabulous sounding recipes! less
