review 1: Dancing with the Duke is short and sweet. Like a candy you would consume hastily you won't remember a lot but the sweet taste will linger in your mouth. Yes I would have liked Charlotte and Alex's characters to be more developed, yes I would have liked the author to respect a little more the historical settings (the heroin has a very modern approach of relationships for a 19th century girl) but it is a novella so I am happy to take the shortcomings as I was not promised a full novel.

Charlotte wants to marry but wishes it would be Alex.His sister thinks if he will dance with Charlotte at Almacks; it will assure her of a successful season. Alex remembers the awkward friend of Lucy but is surprised by the beauty that enters Almacks. What a great romance! Loved every minute of it and you will too. This is a must read. It was ok. I just didn't like the heroine that much so I gave it a two. I liked Lucy though :p
