review 1: I'm reviewing the books together.Firs of all I am thankfull for reading this books now, why? Because these books need to be read back to back, if not you only get the firt part of the story that leaves you without a happy ending.The plot of this books is great, the awesome story of a all male town, were the God(ess) is called Mother and of course is a woman!, where man hunt wild boys that roam the forest to train them as their "boys" (if you know what I mean).This story brings to mind some sci-fi books and movies... but it would be to spoilerish of me to say exactly why.I'll just say that I love Tarin and "his man", I love all the other boys, and the book(s) is a must read.
review 2: I loved it! This second, and obviously last, book explained everything. So wei... morerd and cool! And I was right, this proved to be hotter! I loved all the references to movies. Hurrah for Spirited Away! Garrick and Tarin belong together. I love the moms-look-after-all idea. Worshipped and revered like gods, the idea is original and interesting to me. And the relationships between the men and boys are sweet and hot. I enjoyed the deeply romantic aspect of this series, paedophilia-ness aside (Gah! imagining twinky young adults! Too gross otherwise!) So, yeah, beautifully written, well thought-out, sweetly romantic, and sexy as hell. And that asshole Jadon gets his! Ha ha! less
