review 1: Es el primero de una saga, pero en castellano sólo se ha publicado el primero y eso fue en el 2010. De todas formas en inglés sólo han salido dos de 5, así que por ese lado tampoco anda la cosa muy animada. El libro está bien para el público más jovencito que se introduzca en la fantasía, aunque para el resto puede resultar flojo. Encontré que tiene buenas ideas y personajes con potencial, pero no me metí en la historia. El principio me pareció muy lento y el final precipitado. No obstante, es de esas sagas con bastantes elementos para poder poder mejorar en futuras entregas si se le saca bien el jugo a todo lo que puede ofrecer.

Unfortunately, it took too many pages to get there; I nearly stopped reading several times. It was that dull to start. Fortunately, the ending was good, other than the fact that the author set it up for a sequel. I wish he would have just written it all in one book that moved along. I doubt I'll make the effort to read the next one. less
