review 1: An interesting premise, with a plot that twisted and turned with some expected way stations and others that were surprising. The characters were believable and engaging, and the world created was vivid. I did find at times that some parts of the plot weren't as developed as I would have liked, and there were some loose ends that never got tied up. The book held my interest, though it was very different from my typical read.
review 2: I don't normally read scifi but, I absolutely loved Botanicaust. Tam Linsey has a way of telling a very believable Dystopia scenario that kept me turning page after page. I couldn't put this book drown from the opening of page 1 until after The End. This book has everything you look for in a really good story, and then some. Action... more, adventure, good guys, bad guys, high points and low. It even has just enough romance to placate pesky romantics like me, and, it even has...gulp..canables. Loved it, can't wait for book 2 less
