review 1: Wolf in Gucci Loafers is Tara Lain's second book in her Tales of the Harker Pack series. Each book can be read as a stand alone book but does feature recurring characters. In Wolf In Gucci Loafers, werewolf Lindsay Vanessen is unlucky in love but has a great family and great pack to support him. Since he is half-human he has some hangups to work out and so he takes to the streets as a vigilante. Lindsay meets human cop Seth Zakowsy. They have instant attraction but Seth is not a fan of flamboyant men. So both men have issues but it is interesting to read how everything works out. I really enjoyed the plot-lines, or I should say several plot-lines cause there was actually a lot going on. I definitely look forward to more in this series.
review 2: 4.5 stars... more - I was so happy to have Lindsey's story, a character that I really enjoyed in book one of this series. Lindsey is a bit flamboyant with his scarves, purple loafers and a "Darling" for most everyone. I very much wanted him to find happiness and a big hunky cop in the form of Seth suited him perfectly.There was quite a bit of action in this segment, with kidnappings needing to be investigated and a teenager in the form of Jazz entering their life gave each of our men someone else to share the love with.I was seriously impressed with Tara Lain, and I loved this book! less
