review 1: Duncan going off to the Caribbean to make his clan whole again had no idea he would encounter a sexy she-wolf he would have to protect. Shelley was his equal in every way. She gave as much passion as he gave. The chemistry was just sizzling off the pages. What an excellent continuation to this series. This deserved well more than 5 stars. I will continue to look forward to the other books in this series.
review 2: Another great novel from Ms Spear! I really enjoyed seeing Duncan find his mate and loved Shelley, loved her uncle Ethan as well, he's one of those upper-grumpy old men that actually has s good heart under the rough demeanour! I'm glad the pack got their money back and even managed to make it so other victims of Silverman got their money back. Silverm... morean was not a great character, he wasn't the bad ass that the other 'villians' have been, he was quite slimy in character to be honest and one that didn't really embrace the principles most loupe garou uphold such as the sanctity of mating and being faithful to your mate.He partially redeemed himself at the end when he returned the money in exchange for leniency for his mate, not to mention accepting he couldn't be left alive to go to prison but I would have felt sorrier for him if he'd had a reason other then pure greed for stealing so much money and causing such trauma to so many people not to mention being a serial relationship cheat as well.I loved the progression of Duncan and Shelley's relationship though, only Cearnach and Guthrie to be mated now! less
