review 1: Este libro fue un regalo de un amigo, nunca había oído de él, y la reseña no me llamaba mucho la atención, pero me alegro tanto de haberlo leído!!Quiero decir que la reseña hace entender que es un libro de amor, si bien el amor forma parte de ella, es más bien un libro de intriga?, thriller...Es un libro corto, sólo 200 páginas, con una escritura algo brusca (nada “poética”), que hace que se lea muy rápido. La historia te tiene enganchado todo el rato!, sufrí igual que el protagonista al no saber qué era lo que le estaba pasando! (por lo que no pude parar de leer hasta terminarlo de una)La historia me encantó, lo leí hace meses y es de esas que cambian algo en ti, te dejan un mensajito, lo que cuesta encontrar en un libro.
review 2: Still Wi... moreth Me by Thierry Cohen is a YA book from France. Thierry's story begins with a 17 year old boy named Jeremy who takes pills and alcohol when upset with his girlfriend Victoria pays attention to his friend Pierre on his birthday. From then on Jeremy wakes up only on his birthday at irregular intervals. The rest of the year he is unconscious and discovers he does bad things. He married Victoria and has two children but has devolved into crime, drug abuse, and abusive behavior with his family. At one point he finds himself in prison. The story is novel but reminds me of Momento and other stories similar. I don't think the story is put together well and the idea that what happens is related to a vengeful god made me upset. This has is a book based on Jewish scripture so it is the god of the old testament. less
