review 1: I was originally fascinated by the books description. anything religious cult affiliated is usually very interesting. I was very disappointed that Thomas Fahy did not allow us to get to know these characters better and by how quickly this book was able to be read. It also had too much forshadowing which made it lack suspense. quickly after beginning this book I was able to figure out who was behind everything and who would survive of the 6. the ending has left me wondering if a sequel is in the works though.
review 2: I really liked this story. It was a super quick read, but I found the storyline gripping. It kept me wanting to read more which is a good thing in a book. A good indicator for me of whether or not I truly liked a book is whether or not I'd like... more to read more by the same author. In this case, I would. Though I should've guessed the twist from miles away, I didn't. It left me gasping and in utter shock. Great book! less
