review 1: I love anything Tiffany Reisz writes. The 5 part novella series is the perfect way to get into the mindset for the prequel series which is coming out not soon enough. I cannot wait. Love that she makes an introduction to a character who she manages to develop amazingly over 5 short novellas. Love that we got to see a few of our favorite characters again (even if it was technically at a point in time prior to the series she just finished). Cannot wait for the next series to come out.
review 2: When I think of Nora being happy I've never thought of what it really means her giving up. She and Soren have so much more than just Catholic Church between them. I think that its part of the reason why they struggle with being together, because even when she was his,... more she was only his in a closet, at night, hidden. Now Nora is experiencing an actual relationship, she is with Lance on this outside its clear that this is something Nora longs for, even if she doesn't know it yet. But those few minutes with Soren, their conversation on her porch it is the one that they need to have, because the promises that they have made are what are keeping them apart, and the truth is, neither knows about those promises right now. less
