review 1: Loved this version !!! 5+ stars !!Oh my god!! Fallen Crest series is and, will always will be my favorite book series. So in love with this version. Tijan has originally scrapped this one, and wrote fallen crest family instead. To be honest I loved both of them, I can't even pick which one I liked the most. They were both great. I liked seeing Mason and Logan in this book. Mason is so hot, and I love how caring and protective he is of her. The same thing with Logan, he's so protective of her and caring. The both of them I love seeing. I would of liked seeing Mason's P.O.V and maybe even a scene of Logan's as well. But I did like how it was Sam's it did fit at a lot of scenes.I really felt bad with Sam the way she kept being jerked around with all her parent figures around ... moreher. But I liked how Mason always calmed her down, and was her rock. You can tell they really love each other. Can't wait to read more books to this series.
review 2: There are things I like and hate about this book. It's so different from the original one that I feel as if its a totally new story. The only people that seems to have the same characters were, Mason, Sam, Logan, Nate, Mark, and James. What I don't like about this book is that I don't really feel connected with lots of the characters in here as I did with the original. Everything seems to move so fast that I sometimes have whip lash. It leaves too many unknown and I feel frustrated and wonder what's going on, one minute they were doing something and the next it was something else. I didn't like how Sam seems to keep on trying to be friends with the Elite knowing that they would always leaves her behind. Like Becky & Adam, I haven't seen any thing nice they've done for her yet she goes her way doing things for them. I was glad that Mason introduce her to what real friends should be but is disappointed that they were only drop in that one time. Adam is so evil in here. I don't like his character at all because he acts like a bitch. Sam's mom was also different because she wasn't that evil in here lol. Malinda, I am not sure if I like her character in here, she seems so out there and doesn't look like she's serious. I like her character in the original book better. What I do like about this book is that Marinda was the one to discover the secret and She was the one who told Sam. Unlike the original book where Tate just pops up and telling same about the secret out of no where. I love the ending. It's prefect. Now I wonder how Logan will take it if he did knows the truth in the original book. I like Rex and Becky doesn't deserve him. She's annoying here and she acts like she's Adam's dog. I am disappointed that Sam never met Heather and doesn't like the fact that there were no relationship show how Sam and the Rossuol never met. I think I spelled that wrong. Oh well. All in all, it's a great Alternatives, but I am so glad that this is not the original and can't wait for book 4 less
