review 1: Review of E-Mergency by Tom Lichtenheld.My neighbour gave me this humorous children's book to read, because she thought I would enjoy it...and she was right! This is an entertaining book about the alphabet. What happens when the letter 'E' is out of the picture? The conversation becomes rather silly and hard to understand, especially when 'O' stands in for 'E'. The narrative is humorous and the illustrations are funny and colorful. I chuckled over the puns. One missing letter makes a big difference in how we communicate. Don't have to be a child to enjoy the humor in this book!
