review 1: Cloudette is a small cloud, smaller then the other clouds but she doesn't mind because she liked being called cute nicknames such as Pipsqueak and Shortcake,squeezing through tight places and hiding. However, one day all the other clouds are doing important things like raining so the crops could grow and she feels left out because she can't do that because she isn't big enough. One day she gets blown away by a big storm and finds herself in an environment she never been to before. She meets a frog that has a dry pond and Cloudette wants to help the frog so she makes it rain on the pond so the frog can enjoy itself. After doing so she realizes she wants to help others by making it rain,snow ect so she sets on a journey by herself to help others. I read it to my cousin who L... moreOVED this book and so did I! I love the concept of a small cloud helping others. "Cloudette" reminded me when I was younger always looking at the distant blue sky and wishing I could go up their and sleep on a cloud and fly through the clouds! The drawing were wonderful!
review 2: You are never too small to make a difference. I like how Cloudette is small and on a mission. She is sad that she can't make rivers flow, but soon realizes she's not useless. Many people make a difference each day. Not all are big differences recognized by the world. These little stories of small acts of kindness always appeal to me. Little stories of of humility and compassion. Thank goodness for the clouds big and small. less
