review 1: This is a novel that imagines the horrific homicides that develop as a result of an innocent exotic butterfly release in the Ocala National Forest (north of Orlando, west of Daytona)in Florida. The author does an excellent development of the characters described and provides interesting accounts of the milieu of the seaside marina environment and recovery of outlaw treasure that provides a satisfying closure to the tragedy.
review 2: I enjoyed this book. Tom Lowe has a way of making you root for the underdog. His main character is someone that the average person can relate to, and can empathize with. His characters are well formed and well rounded, they really give you a great story to sink your teeth into. I read all four books though I read them in reverse o
... morerder so I saw how strong the writing had become before I read his first book. less
