review 1: I knocked both volumes 5 and 6 out back to back so the storyline is a bit more blurred, but all in all there is necessary regression in the plot line. The series wraps up with volume 7 which has not yet been released, so final conflicts and adversaries are making big moves. The suspense is pretty good and while the plot is overall predictable, there are a few twists and turns here and there that keep the story interesting. Volume 6 definitely leaves you wanting to know how it ends, so you’ll want Volume 7 right away.As I stated before, I read this manga series once upon a time when it was still in Japanese. I was surprised to see it show up as an ARC some years later. It’s definitely an easy read and the plot is pretty straightforward. It’s a really nice option if... more you’re in between reads. I like the artwork and if you’re into comics, manga and romance, I imagine this series would be right up your alley to check out. There’s brief nudity and sexual situations, but it doesn’t overtake the story or qualify as hentai in my opinion.*ARC provided by the publisher.
review 2: Kaya literally becomes a midnight secretary but with all the work that she does in the daytime only to be a 'special' kind of secretary to the Director - how much more can she take. Her heart, her mind and her body is on the line.Oh as a note - this book may be a bit too graphic for those who aren't used to sex in their Mangas. It's not a "hentai" but there are certain scenes in here that are not suitable for small children - this is a 'josei' book and geared toward women who are 18 - 30. less
