review 1: Newly divorced Jenny Tolliver comes back to her hometown and discovers the town "badboy" from her past is also back home. Even while Jenny and Mick Brody begin a secret summer affair, they are pulled into a moral dilemna.This is a great book. I felt so bad for Mick and the things he had to go through in his past and now his present. And I liked Jenny, even though I believe she and I have a different idea about how to keep a secret. If you like fiery hot and emotional romances, this is the book for you. My rating: 5 Stars.
review 2: This was an okay read. It was very engaging at the first few chapters. The chemistry build up was perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the author giving so much pages for the heroine and her bestfrien's gossip. I skipped most of... more it. It's like reading what happened between the two leads all over again because the heroine would share it to her bestfriend. This continued on until the end of the book so I just skipped it everytime it happened. Waste of pages, really. less

I was really trying to get to 25%, but I can't do it. The writing is too simple in style for my liking. The heroine's thoughts remind me of a very young woman and she's 31. She had unprotected sex with a virtual stranger. She's on the pill & she'll just get tested again. (Ex-hubby was a cheat). Her attitude about the incident was just so casual, without a care in the world. This is not for me. DNF at 13%
