review 1: I liked that this book was different to the other two and involved a single parent. I loved that Zach put his daughter first before his own needs and desires. It was a little slow in some places, but still altogether enjoyable. This book and book 1 are my faves so far.I love that although the other's stories have been told they are still very much part of the consecutive novels. I can't wait to read the last book and find out what poor Rick is going through.I have read some of the reviews and people are not liking the fact that Brian might be ??????, but I love it! It's different and why shouldn't that be possible. I know in real life it wouldn't happen, but that is why we read, right.... to escape reality??Read it for yourself, you'll either love it or hate it, but only y... moreou can decide that... :)
review 2: This book followed in the footsteps of it's predecessors - insta-love with the mating bond, the usual shifter things including mental telepathy and hot alpha males, the closeness of the pack - but this one had something additional thrown in with the inclusion of a child. For me, it's very much a light read without much thinking involved - a little bit of escapism into a fantasy world. The strength of the story was in the handling of Hayley and not glossing over her presence and what that meant for her father - the child really did come first. less
