review 1: As I have stated in other reviews, I love marriage of convenience stories so my expectations were high for this one. Although as I read it, I found that it really isn't a story of a marriage of convenience but of two people who are considering entering into one. Rosemary was a strong leading lady and Finn was a grieving widower left to take care of his newborn daughter. It kept me reading to the end and hoping for the big resolution between them. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The issues between Finn & Rosemary were resolved so suddenly that it was a let down. Overall though, the book was enjoyable and another good read in the "Love Finds You..." series.
review 2: "Love Finds You in Wildrose North Dakota" by Tracey Bateman is a book full of determination and
... more then a little more determination. I found all that determination actually quite interesting for the characters.Rosemary and Finn are two people who are cut from the same cloth. Both know grief, stubbornness, thought of marriage of convenience and both shot that down, they both care for Finn's baby girl, believe they are right plus so much more. It is because these two ate like two peas in a pod that made watching their interactions with each other exciting, funny and at times downright explosive.I was a bit disappointed that the villain as bad as I expected him to be. Oh sure there were a few mishaps but because of the situation I figured it would have played out much differently, but without all that gave more attention to the love story. Yet I think the conflict of the villain could have cemented the relationship between Rosemary and Finn sooner.Though I commented on my negative thought, I still enjoyed the book immensely enjoyed the book. I loved how at the end things are bundled neatly so there are no loose ends on the most part, at least none that I care about anyway. less
