review 1: So my review of this book is way overdue. I actually got the book within a day or two of its release and finished it in about 5 days. This book and the series were amazing!! I loved the way Ms. Ward created a world and story that focused on the change and reemergence of a new society after a zombie apocalypse, rather than just people running from zombies with no real evolution in the story. While I do enjoy some zombie books, Ms. Ward’s Until the End and In the End included, I liked that zombies were not the focus in this series. The characters were well developed, the story line left no loose ends, save one which I’ll address later, and the romance between Joss and Ryan was done beautifully. I truly wish I had the vocabulary and capacity to give this book a better rev... moreiew but I feel that for me, in this case, less is more. The book was great, the series was amazing and I would certainly recommend this book to others. I hope to see Ms. Ward write more “end of ze world” type stories. She is genuinely a talented writer. My only question is…what happened to Vin?!?! Is he still the leader of his little group? Did he go back and take over the Hive? Or is just hanging out chewing gum? At any rate, like I said before, great book, awesome series, fantastic writer!!
review 2: Why did this series have to end!?! I'm going to miss these characters so much. I wish there would have been an epilogue! I mean, come on, book 2 had one! What the heck? I need to know Ali, Jordan and Beth are happy and okay! Other than the missing epilogue and my depression that this series is over, this was an amazing book! A great end to this awesome series. This is honestly, the best zombie/romance series I have yet to read and its also my favorite. I would recommend reading The Quarantined Series before reading this one. Its not exactly necessary but it'll make your reading experience with this series better. Awesome job Mrs. Ward! Pleease continue to write awesome zombie books! less
