review 1: I had to read this even tho I was not a fan of the main characters in the first book. This book helped to understand Kellen a lot better and I felt a little warmer towards him but I still did not like or respect him as a person for the choices he made in life and feeling sorry for himself, Jenna too I still find annoying for how obsessed she was with him I know she was in love with him but she should have respected the fact that he was her sisters boyfriend I know Laney was not a nice person but still that was her sister and I may sound like a prude but there has to be some boundaries and I believe your sisters long term boyfriend (who keeps pushing you away) should be one of them! The writing was well done just could not connect to either main charac... moreters.
review 2: This novel is funny, smart, and devastating all at the same time. This is not your regular type NA romance, it is so much more than that. The second in the North Star series, this brings us Kellen's POV, and the timeline spans roughly about a decade. For those who have already read Knockout, this book makes it really very clear why the main character Kellen is the way he is and who he really is on the inside, and it broke my heart. Brawler is also peppered with some pretty amazing characters, be they central to the story or not. Tracey Ward's sense of humour is seen throughout Brawler and she is damn funny. You want a good laugh and a good cry all at once? This. This here book is for you. less

Really enjoyed this!( Wish the cover was more accurate though, they put the tats on wrong character)

I little long on the first sister. To drawn out. But I liked it. And loved the story line.
