review 1: A historical with a bit of a beauty and the beast theme. Hero is scarred and has a limp from being tortured for information during the war. Heroine is dumped on his doorstep after a big snowstorm and they are house bound for 2 weeks.He decides for the sake of her reputation he'd better pretend to be engaged to her while she finds a different man to marry. Then she can jilt him.But he falls head over heels in love with her and starts spending more and more time with her. Not so good for his find her another man plan.Everything works out and there is a grand gesture of love at the end.Overall, a good book.
review 2: meskipun tidak se-Ekstrim dan selucu klan Mallory or Bridgerton..klan Byron ini jg sepertinya punya chance untuk disukai..sukaaa banget sma tema2 cer... moreita ttg keluarga besar yg dekat n akrab..so krn saya paling gag bs bikin ripiu jadi inti cerita ni novel Cade n Meg pura2 tunangan dgn maksud Cade ngasih kesempatan buat Meg dpt suami yg pantas..eh pas Meg dkt ma lord2 yg laen Cadenya gag rela..overall ceritanya lumayan..konfliknya seru dan yg paling penting Happy Ending...:D less
