review 1: The baker street invaders is a series of (graphic novel) comic books based on Sherlock Holmes stories in which he employs a gang of young street children to unravel his mystery cases.The adventure of the missing detective was an interesting read. The layout of the book enables the reader to really grasp the story and get excited about the storyline. This is my first memorable comic book read. I liked the use of pictures, especially with the given plot, it enables the reader to imagine it happening. First, I was unsure about reading it and how to read it but once I got into it, it was ok. this book was a good read with the use of interesting storyline and graphic pictures, however it isn't the style of book I am used to reading.Appropriate age range:... more 6-12
review 2: Kisah-kisah detektif fiksi terkenal asal London, Sherlock Holmes, memang tak pernah membosankan. Tokoh detektif fiktif ini buatan Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, kali ini Tracy Mack dan Michael Citrin mencoba menghidangkan sebuah kasus yang pernah terjadi di London semasa Ratu Victoria.Di sini juga disuguhkan berbagai misteri, mulai dari yang menyelimuti Laskar Jalanan Bakerstreet, hingga kasus-kasus yang menjadi tema itu sendiri.Tegang, pasti. Serius, apalagi. Mengajak berfikir pembacanya dari bab ke bab. Saya sendiri pun sempat menebak-nebak siapa pelaku pengkhianatan tersebut? hehehe :rahasia:Menakjubkan...
