review 1: Brutal... I read it in one night, and fell in love with the MC, even as damaged as he is. I think this would qualify as a hard read, as anything with noncom is, with the "redeeming" factor being a happy ending of sorts.I was beyond happy when Jason began having good things happen to him, rather than one after hideous thing. The epilogue leaves things on a positive note, though Tristan's fate is still unknown, and I really hope he survived as well as it seems Jason did.
review 2: That was a great read. The progress Jason made from his horrific existence to the almost perfect one is amazing, the transformation is breathtaking. I did not even mind a lot of repetition in the plot. If anything, it gives you a very clear idea of what Jason was going through - same
... morekind of abuse day after day after day of his very short life.Granted, there were a lot of typos, editorial and grammatical errors with plethora of inconsistencies. But on the great scheme of things, they did not carry a lot of weight for me personally. However there are some unresolved issues that I (again - personally) think needed to be taken care of. Therefore - 4 stars. less

Could have been shorter. Repetition of the same subplot too many times.

The pain was so good, but the HEA left much to be desired.
