review 1: im not sure whether this is the fourth or fifth book of its series, but having already read the first three books, The Extraordinary Education of NB didnt live up to my expectations. Compared to the others, this book seemed to drag on with not much excitement or interesting ideas. Now that i think about it, i was bored most of the time while reading it, but i continued to read on in hopes of it being better. overall it was alright. A great thing about these series though is that the vocabulary is pretty advanced and the structure of the authors sentences gives a new perspective on ways to write.
review 2: I read this entire book in one day! I couldn't even sleep that night because I loved the book so much! I just read all night. I love this author! He is ab... moresolutely amazing! Everything that happens in the Mysterious Benedict Society series is unexpected. There are so many puzzles with "Da!" solutions that I never would have thought of but make perfect sense. They make me question my common sense and intelligence. The Extraordinary Education of Nicholas Benedict will not disappoint Mysterious Benedict Society fans. Nicholas seems to be Reynie, Sticky, Kate and Constance combined with his own sense of humor! less
