review 1: As far as trashy romances go, this was good. I read this at the airport and on the plane, so maybe about 2.5 hours? I think my main issue is that the characters aren't as fleshed out as in previous tales involving people in Sticklepond. And I felt that the resolution of the side plot of Evil Corporate Developer was resolved too quickly, and the ending didn't suit me at all. In short I thought it was rushed and disappointing, BUT as a piece of light reading on the plane it was pretty much perfect!! :)
review 2: Yet again Trisha gives the readers another brilliant book! Not only do we have the brilliant story of Tansy but also Aunt Nan, who is an amazing character that you cant help fall in love with. She reminds you of every aunt you had as well as your own nan ... moreand how you would want your mom to be when you have kids! The story touches every nerve and sends shivers down you spine. Its a beautiful story which all should read and it also joins in characters from Sticklepond, which were in other books like 'Chocolate Wishes'. less
