review 1: A good, short book on getting the best out of Evernote. Concentrates on what you're trying to achieve, rather than how to do it in the software, which improves the book's longevity, given the ever-changing nature of Evernote. As a long standing Evernote user, this book still gave me a few tips. I did notice one or two technical inaccuracies while I was reading, however, and the proof reading of the book is not brilliant in places.
review 2: Found this for free at Amazon. Without knowing too much about how to use Evernote I was able to use it to put together my second book. So I figured WTF, I'll have a look and see how it actually works. The Evernote Bible is at the short end of what could be considered a book. There's an asinine list of 100 things you can use ... moreEvernote for at the end, and some of it will be useless for you if, like my broke ass, you don't have a Mac. (Apparently, they had to make the Mac version significantly different, for some reason.) The few parts I did FWIW find useful could be condensed to one not particularly lengthy blog post. But I couldn't be too upset for a few reasons: (1) the price was right; (2) reading the entire thing, including the Mac parts and the appendices (because it was that kind of Sunday afternoon) only took me a couple of hours; and (3) Evernote is one of those programs where everyone will use it differently, depending on what they use it for, so a book like this can only be but so specific. less
