review 1: I tore through this book really quickly. The plot was interesting, and the author kept the story moving fast, so there was always new info to find out. I usually don't guess the identity of the killer until the big reveal, but I actually guessed this right away. I don't think the author did a great job of discussing motive definitively, though. That was one area I'd like to see clarified. But I liked the detective characters, and was interested in their character development as much as the story line. I will continue to read the rest of this series, if only for a nice quick mystery read. Hopefully the next book in the series will actually stump me :)
review 2: Great first mystery novel. Always helps when you title a book after an obscure Shakespeare quote. very
... more well written, fluid, plenty of hints and twists and turns. Killer was a bit obvious but he did a bang up job of shouting "move on people, nothing to see here. I have to say that the characters had enough going for them to compete with the Harry Bosch, Alex Cross, Frank Quinn and Kay Scarpettas of the genre. I especially liked the strong aggressive female lead. She adds oodles to the mix. Gotta go...shu less

Quick, easy read. Well-plotted and good characters. This may be a new series I will enjoy.
