review 1: OMG this was an awesome book - the only complaint is that it was a little too long. They could have moved a bit more faster I think. I did love watching her grow to really love & trust her boys. Alex was just a piece of trash & he got what he deserved. I did want to smack the crap out of Tyler for his actions. I think they were a little bit overblown but was glad to see that things did work out for the best in the end. On to the next one.
review 2: I like Dalton's books as a rule, because there is a plot and the characters are more deeply developed than others of this genre. This story has a plot I didn't enjoy as much. Nevvie, the female lead, is less sympathetic because she is such a victim. She does eventually have the strength to leave an abusive rela... moretionship. Maybe I need more empathy, but it was annoying. The two guys in her life are actually customers whose house she cleans. Tyler and Thomas want her in their lives permanently and to take care of her. Of course, all ends well. less
