review 1: First I just want to say I normally love books for this author. I think my major disconnect with this book was that it just wasn't my kink. The book started out well enough for me but at around 50% -when the sexy scenes started-I felt that the characters became someone else. I did not like all the daddy talk and the overuse of the good girl or the stuffed animals. The first two were okay even the bear from grandmas stuff but the last too were too much for meI felt like Gabe just had some kind of complete mental breakdown and needed to see someone about it. I will read other books by this author in the future.
review 2: I really enjoyed the story between Gabe and Bill it was very well written and showed the caring as love between the two characters.My only... more fault with this book along with the other Suncoast Society books is when Tilly and Landry are mentioned after reading Cardinal's Rule any mention of these two characters kills my joy of the storyline. I truly despise these two characters and wish they wouldn't be mentioned in the story lines even in passing. less
