review 1: *tear jerker alert* I kind of went into this a little blind. I've had this book on my TBR shelf forever and finally picked it up. While I'm not into menages , I stuck with this one bc it was about a lot more than that.I loved that I felt just like Seth, like a student. I loved how the author taught me about the lifestyle. When "the end" finally comes, man my heart broke. Again, since I'm really too selfish to enjoy the threesome scenes too much, I kind of disconnected a little, but then I'd pick it back up when the reality of why it was happening came back to my mind. All in all, a great book. 3.5 stars for me.
review 2: From a technical aspect I would say that this book was well written. The characters where developed and realistic. I wouldn't have cho... moresen to read this story. I read it as part of a group challenge and would have to admit that I considered not finishing it and forfeiting the challenge I signed up for. I found the story depressing. The sex scenes that should have been able to smooth over how sad the story line was had a constant running internal monologue from Seth about the fact that Kaden was dying. less
