review 1: Second and my last read from Tymber Dalton. I didn't like any of the characters in this book. Tilly, while she was really independent, just rubbed me the wrong way and it just seemed like she fell a little too fast for Landry. Cris...don't even get me started on how much I disliked him. Landry...slightly more likable, but for someone that claimed to love Cris so much, he sure did take a lot of pleasure in humiliating him and hurting him. I don't care for books with total power exchange in them and books that feature humiliation on every other page even less. Plus, it just was a little too convenient that Landry was so into Tilly when he is...gay. I just didn't enjoy this book and was relieved when it was over, although there were some sex scenes that were quite... more hot.
review 2: Like another reviewer I found the relationship between the three lead characters very disturbing it went beyond sadism to cruelty to the one character - he made a mistake and the other 2 lead characters getting their (pound of flesh) was down right disturbing! I do NOT consider this a romance book with a HEA - in fact when I read other books of Ms. Dalton's and I see the two characters names who got their (pound of flesh) I skip over their parts in the books I'm reading. This is a book I will NOT read again and wish that I had NEVER read to begin with. My opinion if you love someone they way the one character states he loves the other male character you do NOT put them through what they did. VERY Disturbing and VERY warped relationship in the bookAgain just my opinion less
