review 1: This story... well, this story was a little different in that I just wasn't expecting any "screwing with the furniture". The warning was there, but I completely disregarded it. That doesn't mean the story is bad! The story is about two guys, Kai and Cole who have been "fuck buddies" for 3 years or so; constant Friday night engagements with no other contact save for the sex. One night, things take a different turn when a little pain is entered into the equation and the sex "is the best ever!" Neither can stop thinking about the other and all of a sudden a call comes across Cole's phone from Kai asking for help. Apparently a new level had been added to the relationship without either of them knowing. Now, the Friday "sex date" has been pushed into the Saturday "sleepover" wh... moreich develops into "I think we should make this permanent." The story comes at it from both perspectives which is a bonus to be able to see the questions or concerns from both guys. And the ending made it all worth it.
review 2: Damon certainly placed a tall order for this one and Valentina filled it to overflowing. You both have my compliments, Damon for your very creative and challenging prompt and Valentina for writing one of the most compelling and memorable stories in the Hot Summer Days collection under that kind of pressure! ;) Thank you. You have blown my mind into tiny little pieces and I'm having a hard time gathering my thoughts to express just how much I love this story. I was thinking how much I loved Kai's voice and how I was completely connected to what he was thinking and feeling. Then along comes Cole adding his voice to the mix and from that point on the two voices, blending as one created such a beautiful resonance I was just totally mesmerized and 100% THERE, lost in their world soaking in every single moment and feeling it. less
