review 1: For me, this book was a short read. I was surprised how the theme of this book was miscommunication. For me, I believe that the low amount of talking between Lilah, and her parents contributed to her anger. As a passive person, this book didn't grab me. I notice how she constantly thinks about her brother. Again, it didn't appeal to me because I don't have a male sibling. I notice that the author's style has taken a style of going back into history. I found it a bit confusing, as I had no idea what happened to Lilah's brother until the very end. I believe that lead me (as a reader) to not appreciate the book for what it was. I guess the only positive point is that it was good to know her anger levels throughout the book.
review 2: Amazing, I had this book just
... more lying around for three months because I picked it up in a rush and when I read the summery it looked like a crappy book with a very simple story line that mainly consists of an annoying chavey girl...But boii was I wrong ! This books flow was so natural, I didn't feel forced to read this and it just kept getting better and better. The thing i loved about this is that it was a light read, so it only took me three ours to read this.It really did suit the number of pages it had and really, it was a perfect little book :) less
