review 1: An okay book. Did not get very deep into characters, or into how challenging it would be for those from a different upbringing to start a business. Also, even his own story arc seemed complete half way through, but the book continued on without adding very much. Definitely had funny moments, and gives you some perspective on enterpreneurship in India. Most of the value would come out of a browse, maybe of the first 150 pps.
review 2: I read it just after Emperor of Maladies for some light reading and it did prove distracting. I am not going to talk about the writing cause it's the same "I passed my 12th English Exams so I can write books" way of writing, but the good part is that the author knows it, so I he knows how bad he is. I liked it only because it remin... moreded me of Bangalore with all the references to favourite hangout places over there and the local slangs used! less
