Maths for Toddlers: new free app

If you’re planning to empty your pockets for maths tuitions for your under 5 year old. Stop right there.

(This is not a paid review, opinions are my own)

Firstly, google ‘Khan Academy’ for their amazing story. And if you have kids older than 5 then you may as well download this free app to help you kids get a great supervised guidance.

In short ‘Khan Academy. A free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by educator Salman Khan with a goal of creating a set of online tools that help educate students. The organization produces short lectures in the form of YouTube videos.’ Google/wiki

Khan academy helps kids avoid the expensive math tuitions and the inconvenience of going away from home to get extra help. This free app is brilliant and gives clear alternative instruction for kids in school college and even post graduation subjects.

Now I have a toddler who’s in primary education. And most Indian parents are ambitions about their kids being ahead in life and mostly better than other kids. Competition is a huge problem but here’s a way you can educate your kid in a way that doesn’t put pressure on him/her.

So this morning I got an email from them and there was a small window with DUCK DUCK MOOSE! An app for toddlers to help them with maths! The app is called Moose Maths (the link is below for the App story)

I loved it. Most because it’s free!

This interactive game helps kids work out mathematical problems in a fun and entertaining way.

I love that you learn through games fun characters, juice and fruits.

Have a look at it:
