review 1: Loved Molly Smith. All characters and scenes well developed. With each suspenseful moment I could hear the mystery movie music playing in my head, and I'm sorry I can't name those scores, but I hope, if you've ever watched "Psycho" or any Alfred Hitchcock movie, you understand what I'm trying to say. I envy any writer who has that ability to scare the living daylights out of their reading audience. The audio was done well also.
review 2: This police procedural is largely character driven. While I was sometimes frustrated with the characters, their emotions and actions seemed true to life. A few cases were being solved throughout the book which kept the plot moving. Tense relationships between the characters kept me reading until the resolution. I especially enj... moreoyed the tension between the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team of the RCMP and the Trafalgar City Police. Molly is a strong female protagonist. This book is the fourth installment in the Constable Molly Smith series, some of which are available in eBook format. less
