review 1: A story about putting aside prejudice and following your heart, even at the ultimate cost of losing your family. The author drawn the characters as sweet and gentle , yet with a fierce strength to defend their love for each other. In only 73 pages has a world been created that endears you to it and the inhabitants of the same. MC’s are hot, tender and very demonstrative of the love they have found in each other. Well done Mr Alexander!
review 2: This is an enemy-to-lovers story in the best tradition. Two princes of kingdoms not yet at war but with one of them wanting to get there are forced to get married to avoid war. As they begin to live together, the one who intended to betray his husband starts to see he may not be in the right. The cultural differences
... morebetween the two kingdoms are clear, and it was fun to learn about both of them. The big confrontation I expected at the end did not happen though, and left everything between the countries up in the air. Maybe it will be solved in a sequel? I am not sure, but without that final resolution I felt that an essential part of the story was missing. If you like fantasy with a touch of magic, if you enjoy watching two enemies having to learn to live together, and if you're looking for a fun read in an exotic setting, then you will probably like this novella. less
