review 1: I didn't get it at all. The premise of this so-called Bridezilla being pursued so relentlessly by the press would only work if she was famous. Why would they care so much otherwise? I kept expecting to read she was the daughter of the president or something. But no. Despite all the nice writing and - I did love the character of Max - all I could keep coming back to - was - there is no basis for this story. I could go on, but I won't.
review 2: "Crazy for Love" by Victoria Dahl was a quick read with fun moments, but I had two primary issues with the book. First of all, the situation the heroine was in (being chased across the globe by paparazzi) didn't ring true for me. There simply wasn't enough of an issue (she was accused of being a 'bridezilla') to generate ... morethat kind of media attention for that long of time. Second, the hero's issues (being a safety-control freak) annoyed me and he didn't change by the end of the book. Instead of addressing his problems, he ran from them by quitting his job and moving to a remote site where he could craft furniture (hello... tools are very dangerous) and avoid people while worrying only about the heroine. I wanted the heroine to DO something to change her life, but instead, she just waited for situations to go away of their own accord. Still, the love story of two reluctant brothers and two best girlfriends was sweet. less
