review 1: While the storyline and mystery were good, I found the repetition of certain themes over and over and over and over and over and over again annoying enough to distract from the main story (Does he have a bullet fragment in his head? Could he die at any moment?). I appreciate that it might show the obsession of the main character, but I didn't find him that likeable and the constant repetition that he has a condition made me barely finish the book.
review 2: Let me start by saying that I am definitely going to read another Vincent Zandri book. I love Zandri’s writing style. The main character Moonlight (Richard) is a former detective who becomes a private investigator. He thinks he killed somone but cannot remember. Moonlight Falls packs a punch from the
... more first chapter and continues to charge at a “break-neck” pace. This is the type of thriller book I really enjoy reading…one that does not let go. I like that this story takes place in Albany, NY. Albany is a city I am familiar with and have traveled through many times. Scenes from this book will be in my mind my next trip across the Hudson River. I look forward to reading more Vincent Zandri in the near future and recommend this book to readers who enjoy a solid, fast-paced thriller. less
