With our departure day coming closer, we have finished the main route planning and thanks to Strava we now have turn by turn instructions for our 2270 kilometres (1410 miles)
We also have the added statistic that we have 22,246 metres (72,985 feet) of elevation gain to cycle up. This is 2.5 x the height of Everest from sea level!
This is a fitting thought when you think of the people that we are helping by raising funds. Many of them have their own Everest to conquer each day..
