review 1: This is a story about Cami and her friend Chrissy, both in their 20's, who take a week-long trip to the beach and stay in Chrissy's step-father's beach house. What they don't expect is to have two strange guys show up claiming to be doing the same.I really enjoyed the majority of the story that took place at the beach house. I love the dialog between Cami and Nick, and loved these 2 characters, as well. After the beach trip, the story didn't flow as well, and skipped some crucial events and time periods. Chrissy pretty much disappeared towards the end of the book (wasn't written about), even through the major events in her best friend's life. I would have liked found out how Chrissy fared after her "ephiphany" (don't want to give anything away!!).Overall this is a very nice... more feel-good book, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.
review 2: I liked the first half of this book a lot. There was a weird transition when they left the beach, the main character seemed totally different. Then the end was kind of thrown together to put a shiny bow on it, I didn't like that either. If the book had ended at the beach it would have been perfect. One review I read on Amazon claimed that this book was clean and you should let your teenage daughter read it, I disagree! There were some parts that were not clean at all. Not a teen book! less
