review 1: 2.5 - good story, but the writing made it easy to put it down and walk away from it. I only finished it bc it was right there every time I turned my kindle back on.You hear authors talking about reading their stuff aloud - I think this person should have tried that. The dialogue doesn't sound natural and the paragraph flows often feel telly.BUT, like I said - good premise. I hope this author gets better - I'd checkout something by her again.
review 2: Another easy-reading good tale by Virginia Jewel. I like a break every now and then from my regular diet of murder 'n' mayhem and this was ideal. It tells of Tallie, a girl working in her dad's bar in a small town and Robbie, a guy returning to town after a failed marriage and to take care of his dying father.Pret... morety obvious they'll get together but it still holds your interest as you wonder when and how it's going to happen !!A perfect book to take on holiday for the beach for sure but still enjoyed in the pouring rain stuck indoors !! less
