review 1: I loved this book except for the ending. It felt rushed like the author ran out of room and had to quickly tie up all the loose ends, the main one being Matt's relationship with Allison. The characters were wonderful, the plot well-written so had no complaints along those lines. Would have liked a little more explanation for Matt's abrupt about-face. In spite of that, I would still recommend it to my friends. It was worth reading and I definitely plan to continue with the series.
review 2: This is a very cute, easy, relaxing romance. I struck up a conversation with the author via social media regarding the romance genre and she was super nice, so I figured I'd try one of her books. I was not disappointed, and I suspect I'll keep Virginia Kantra on my book radar... more from here on out! I like books set in beach vacation towns, seeing as that I live in one. The tourism based economy definitely strikes a chord with me, so it's almost like this one is written about people around here. The romance was rather quick, but what can you expect in 300 pages? less
