review 1: This book kind of snuck up on me. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to finish it, but I ended up really liking the relationship between Ryan and Maxine. I liked that is seemed realistic to me - they went on actual dates first, and they didn't have crazy circumstances/misunderstandings keeping them apart for the entire book. The suspense part was a little predictable, but it wasn't a huge part of the book. Overall, a sweet, pretty steamy read.
review 2: I found myself really liking both Max and Ryan in this one. I liked that Max was trying to pull away from her family, to find her own p
... morelace in the world and that she didn’t hide from her attraction from Ryan. I was also glad that Ryan didn’t hide from his attraction either and that he realized that with Max he needed patience to help her learn what a real adult relationship is about. It seemed like once they both trusted each other there wasn’t anything that they wouldn’t do with or for each other. less
