review 1: This was good, but not great. But maybe that's because some of the things that V.S. Ramachandran finds so interesting are things that I find very boring, like perception and why people like art. I just can't find the energy to care about these things, even though I know that from the perception of a neurologist they should be very interesting. But that's my problem, not Ramachandran's, and I'd be happy to read another book by him.
