review 1: What a wonderfully entertaining read. So imaginative I thought why didn't I think of that? The author is known for his great books about animals, dogs, bears, did I mention dogs? True to form there is a dog in this book, but the dog is not the main character. Part life of a Repo Man and part mystery this book is a humorous light read with a number of twists and turns with engaging characters to light the way.
review 2: Ruddy McCann, former football star, is a repo man in northern Michigan, where his sister runs the family bar, the Black Bear Bar and Grille. While attempting to recover a pickup truck from a hostile client, Ruddy starts hearing voices. Is it Repo Madness? No, it’s a real estate agent named Alan, who was murdered and is now sharing Ruddy’s bo... moredy. While he attempts to discover who killed Alan and why, his sister gets involved with a smooth talking but naïve hustler and his best friend is cashing checks drawn on nonexistent checking accounts. A cast of colorful characters, lots of action, and plenty of humor make this an enjoyable read. less
