review 1: I was completely surprised with how much I enjoyed this story. I fell in love with puppies and how the "mother" dog Lucy. Lucy nursed these pups after her litter didn't survive and became their mother. The man, who had never had a dog and knew nothing about caring for a new litter, became totally involved. This read is filled with love, laughter and love. It's perfect for cuddling up by the Christmas tree . .
review 2: I loved the dogs in this cute little story. It drove me to finish the book to see what would happen to the little fur-babies. For me, the main character needed to grow a little, which did happen, but it took a while. I would recommend this book to friends and give them only the head's up that it is written from a male's point of view - nothin... moreg wrong with that at all, for me personally, the main character was a struggle to deal with at times. less
