Moon Knight (2014)
review 1: My friend Justin brought this one to my attention and I ama fan of comics about wacko people and Marc Spector is just that. A 'hero' with multiple personalities who fights in all white (must go through a lot of bleach!). The first issue is about serial killing and Mr. Spector is brought in to help dispose of the criminal. This is the beginning of a new series and I am excited to see how it proceeds. I am hoping for psychological plays all the time :) here's to hoping!
review 2: I tweeted how I thought this was the best comic I've read in 2014. Here's why:Warren Ellis' first Marvel launch in years. Usually, he goes for short runs and guesting stints. I hope he stays for a while on Moon Knight; I'm crossing my fingers for at least a year's worth of issues. His tak
... moree on Moon Knight respects what came before and this first issue acknolwedges all of that as canon; from Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz's first series to the last one by Brian Bendis and Alex Maleev. Ellis takes all of that and integrates it well with a plausible explanation and potential plot point for the future. The art is amazing. Declan Shalvey is a budding superstar, if he isn't yet already. The color by Jordie Bellaire also contributes to the overall storytelling which made this a total visual treat.I have a feeling that this will be one of the most well-received comics this year so come aboard so you could say that you were in on from the start. less

Dark and stylish. Interested in seeing where this is going. Might not be my cuppa.

Warren Ellis elevates Marvel's second hand Batman clone into something magical.
