review 1: In the second Nick Lupo werewolf story, there have been some vicious killings, that look like they were done by a wild animal. Nick finds out there are others like him out there. With a lot more sex in this one - due to one of the other werewolf's sexually charged appetite when he is in human form. Damn, he made me wish I was a werewolf!:)With Nick still trying to control the "creature" (as he calls it), brings back the werewolf tale, in an exciting and thrilling read.
review 2: The book I finished in Halloween 2013! The first werewolf book I've ever read, and I liked it. Gave me a lot of good ideas, but Im not saying what they are, like I won't give away the ending of the novel.A good fast read, but I didn't like the typeface. Sometimes the font of a novel ... moreis more appeasing to me than others. Agatha Christie has a typeface I like, and if I read a novel of hers that's not in that font, I don't get into the story as much, or even think it's one of hers.My problem? Possibly. But I wonder if others feel this way. The font of this book was too cold and made me feel as though I was reading an official document printed out by a computer or political committee telling me a story. Are there warm and cold fonts? Ask Marshall McLuan. I told a guy who worked for a small publisher this once in a bar (before the heavy drinking started) and he seemed curious. Do publishers know about this psychological phenomenon? If they did, they may choose some fonts and reject others. Have a started a new thing? 'Font Psych 101'? If so, I wish to be consulted by all publishers. My hourly fee starts at $100/hour. Im a writer, I need money!Make my book warm (soothing on the eyes) and I'll buy more from that author even if I don't care to much for the story. less
